QUOI?!
Coincidence. Irony. Are there such things?
A few months ago I applied for a job at one of the biggest PR consulting companies in the world. They interviewed me. I got the impression that they liked me. I waited for weeks...maybe even a couple of months for their decision. I did follow up, but they kept saying that they were still deciding. Naturally, I thought I didn't get the job.
Meanwhile, I kept sending my resumes to other companies, because at that stage, I was desperate for a change. Finally, my current employer invited me for an interview on Monday before the Eid. And they offered me a contract which I couldn't obviously reject only 3 days after my interview (Thursday). They wanted me to start the first day after the Eid holiday.
On my second day at my new job, I finally received the phone call I'd waited for. I got that other job. They learned about my situation and still asked me to consider joining them. But the Etiquette-lady inside me told me to stay and decline the offer, only because I had just started my days working for my current employer. But I told them to keep in touch...
Two days ago, I learned that the BoD of my company has hired a PR consultant without even talking about it to us in the PR Department. That kinda pisses me off.
Today, however, I have learned the PR company they're using is the exact same PR company that offered me a job.
I seriously don't know how to react to that.

PS: I'm restraining from Facebook for a week because I've been Facebooking too much, too often, hence my uncommon personal update on my blog. :p
